It turns out that every industry has their dirty little secrets. Even the ones who claim to be “100% transparent,” are most definitely not. It’s difficult to be honest about every little thing as a human, so you can only imagine how bad large corporations are at it. It’s not shocking to find out that companies are keeping secrets from you. We all go buy a new car with the expectation of getting oversold, or buy merchandize that claims something that makes your eyes roll with how untrue it is.
Most people don’t found out exactly what these secrets are, however, unless they have worked in that industry for a while.. Until now! Thank god for the internet. A Reddit user asked for people to share the “dirty little secrets” they learned from the industries they’ve worked in and, boy, are some of these just heartbreaking. From expensive “fancy” wines turning out to be any old cheap blend, to the woes of licking an envelope closed, these employees have shared some pretty dirty stuff.
