If you had to describe yourself on the spot, would you include your profession in the description? It kind of makes sense if you’re really passionate about what you do, and/or your job is something prestigious or interesting. Still, it’s likely that most of us would not jump to our job title to when it comes to explaining who we are.
It’s pretty crazy, then, that so much of our lives relate to our workplace. Just because we’ve got to do this whole working thing to survive doesn’t mean that we have to be all grateful for it. As we all know, it’s difficult to feel like that a lot of the time anyway. Memes might not magically make our work-based woes improve, but they can make them easier to deal with. That’s why there are such a lot of them out there. We need to express the frustration somehow.
