In this world, it’s easy to be a cynic. This is especially true for those of us who are more pessimistically inclined (I have to call myself out here). There are so many bad things that we all have to experience, and often they pale in comparison to the awfulness that others go through. From this perspective, reality is a major downer.
However, this negativity does not tell the whole story. There is also a lot of goodness about, if we’re willing to look for it. Admittedly this is sometimes easier said than done, but that’s just one reason why looking at wholesome memes is such a great idea. They’re a healthy way to boost our mood and remind us that it isn’t all doom and gloom. As if that wasn’t enough, many bring humor into the equation, too. They should prescribe these things when you go to the doctor.
