There’s no question that taking a good selfie is an art form, even if some consider it to be a lowbrow one. Like all photography, we have to take into consideration the lighting and angles, and our own expression on top of that. It’s something that many human beings struggle with, as a casual perusal of any dating app will show.
In fact, other species can sometimes put us to shame. We’ve all seen those iconic photos that Macaque monkeys took of themselves, and now another member of the animal kingdom can lay claim to some great shots. These come courtesy of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks, who took to Twitter recently to share that a bear had discovered a wildlife monitoring camera and decided to test out their good side.
The resulting photos are both amusing and impressive, and people wasted no time in making modeling jokes. Let’s be honest, she deserves a contract.
