There’s always that one coworker who makes the company lunches harder for literally everyone else. Now, if you’re not aware, company lunches serve a very specific purpose for any organization. They serve as a brief escape for employees who might feel less than sufficiently supported on a day-to-day basis in the office. Regardless of whatever the intent is, we’re here for anything on the company’s dime. As long as these lunches are not used as a way to replace more serious issues like employee compensation, most employees would welcome a free lunch… that is, unless that one difficult coworker makes ordering something as simple as lunch an impossible task for everyone.
This thread was posted to Reddit’s r/pettyrevenge subreddit by another employee at the company who had enough of their choosing beggar of a coworker. First, he ruined the lunch order by insisting that the office manager order less of everyone’s favorite type of pizza and more of a different kind (here’s hoping it wasn’t Hawaiian). Next, he didn’t even eat the kind he insisted on ordering because he wanted to save it for potential leftovers later in the week. Leftovers? That is not how office pizza parties work! That’s when OP reached his limit and decided to eat every single slice that was meant for these so-called “leftovers.”
