You know how it goes… Follow the policy, or you won’t get a room. Apparently, not everyone got the memo.
One elderly lady was staying at a hotel for quite some time following an operation she had at a local hospital, and the staff were happy to have her. They gave her free room service, a discount, great treatment, you name it… She got it all. But when the time came for her to reauthorize her card, she refused. Instead of signing a piece of paper and following the rules, she pulled the ‘Don’t you know who I am’ card, and made the employee’s lives miserable.
The hotel staff tried to reason with her but the lady was absolutely adamant… She was not going to sign anything, thank you very much! What other choice did the front desk clerk have?
