Self-improvement looks different for everyone. Nobody wants to stay stagnant, and there are so many ways to choose to make your life better. I’m a fan of the classics: reading, spending time with loved ones, and doing art. Doing all of these things consistently makes my life 100x better than when I was doing none of them. One of the most challenging parts of self-improvement for me is exercise. I just haven’t found the sport for me, and honestly, I don’t know when I will. I really need to pull up my bootstraps and spend an hour on the elliptical a couple of times a week while watching The Real Housewives of Potomac. I keep holding out for a sport that will not make me feel like a weakling kid in gym class, and I don’t know if adult dodgeball will be exception.
