There’s a saying, “if you can’t take it, then don’t dish it out.” Basically, if you don’t like the taste of your own medicine, then you better stop messing around. There are a lot of sayings like this and they all mean the same thing of not messing with people, because it can always come back to you even stronger.
That is exactly something one lawyer was able to prove. He was working for a mid-sized company as their lawyer when one of their buildings had burned down. This could’ve been a quick sue, get your money, and get out. But there was one employee, Frank, who did not like working with lawyers.
Though OP kept warning him that he had to do the steps he suggested or else they would lose millions, Frank ignored him. So, of course, low and behold, Frank messed up and ended up costing the company millions. Instead of Frank owning up to his fault, though, he tried to pin it on the lawyer.
