This college freshman really wanted their horse to come to school with them. Depending on where you live, that might be a completely normal thing to do. Lots of people ride horses around their neighborhoods as a means of transportation, and it works out just fine. I mean, that’s what people did before the existence of cars anyway. Before cars ruled the streets, you had to get around on foot. If you wanted to get somewhere fast, you could get there at whatever speed your horse could run. These days, horses aren’t used for transportation nearly as much as cars are, but if you live in the countryside, horses make some great pets.
This person was used to getting around with their own pet horse, which u/Cee-Gee had been caring for throughout all of high school. They shared their story about what happened when they tried to bring their equine friend to school—check out the short story below, as well as comments from people who really loved the OP’s tale.
Next up, these retail workers are sharing the things that get on their last nerve—like all those people who leave empty coffee cups on the shelves for no reason.
