Were politics always this much of a circus and they just kept it behind the scenes and now it’s out in the open or is this a new thing? Honestly, we slept on the State of the Union. We vote, we love to vote, we encourage voting! But politics have just been such a joke for the past few decades, it’s like why even try any more? We’re not trying to spark some wild discussion here (which we’re sure will still happen because the Internet), but, we’re all just puppets of big corporations anyways, right? The only reasons we still participate in these performative events these out-of-touch senior citizens that run our country like to throw is for the golden meme material. Listen, we want the United States to actually be united and be a better place. We want everyone to be able to feel empathy and help each other out.
