Memebase is a meme website, so there is absolutely no denying that we love a simple picture + text combination as much as the next person. But there is definitely something to be said for the challenge of expressing oneself – or sense of humor – using only one’s words. People on Twitter and Tumblr are really, really good at this. They get us laughing with as little as ten words. Some posts (especially from Tumblr) are so descriptive and weird that we don’t miss the photos. They also leave us marveling at how wonderfully strange and witty some people’s brains are.
