There’s nothing worse than feeling like you’re being rushed. When you’re at the store and the person behind you in line is breathing down your neck, there’s a part of you that wants to run the other direction to get out of their way. But there’s a smaller, louder part of the pettiest corners of your brain that wants you to succumb to the intrusive thoughts and move as slowly as possible, just to enrage the person behind you. Clearly they’ve got somewhere to be and now you have the power to determine if they make it or not.
A dilemma arises.
In this case, a bulk-shopper who was proud of his grocery efficiency finally reached his breaking point in the parking lot when he was unloading his groceries into the car. It was a busy day and he was leaving a coveted parking spot, so a road-raging fellow shopper pulled in behind him to claim the parking as he was packing up. Although, things went sour when the waiting car started being visibly irate at OP’s pace, only seconds after pulling up. Slow your roll, buddy!
