Anyone else feel like a total clown when peering hesitantly at the number that appears at the top of their bank account? These student loans have grown to an indomitable amount, and we imagine we’ll be well past 30 before we ever pay them off. This boatload of debt is in addition to other assorted bills — such as gas, rent, food… you know, the basics for survival. We’re surprised air doesn’t cost money at this point. We bet it’s only because they can’t legally enforce it.
And all this neurotic checking… it’s tiring. Almost more so than taking our exams, handing in assignments and a variety of dreadfully boring essays. As for our professors, some of them are pretty cool, while others make it their life’s mission to make yours a guessing game. Your assignments pose questions such as ‘What was your personal take on XYZ?’. Finally, a question that you don’t need to read 150 pages for!
So you give your personal take, AKA your opinion, only to get a big fat zero on the question with a small note beside it saying ‘What a load of BS. How on earth did you get to this conclusion?’. True story, folks. True freaking story.
